This sounds like the main bearings have worn out (they start to rumble first) when they start to brake up they rip apart the water seals that are between them and the back of the washers drum, and then it starts to leak water, to test them to see if there claped out,,,, open the door and try lifting the top of the drum lightly , if it lifts a bit then drops back when you let go its the bearings going, now spin it by hand and you will here a rumbleing noise or grinding noise, when the washer is running on spin it will sound like the end of the world is coming???? im sorry to tell you this part is not cheep to fix, its 2-3 hours work?
