Try to use the Windows 7 driver from the Lexmark website. Uninstall the existing driver from your computer first. How to
Uninstall Lexmark Printers. Reboot pc when prompted. Then, check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit system type by going to the Start menu > right-click on Computer > Properties. Take note of the System Type.

Please go to run and enter "devmgmt.msc" you will get device manager, Remove all of the Universal Serial Bus from the device manager and click on Scan for hardware changes. It will install all of the USB drivers. After that connect the all in on printer and install the software properly.
From how you're describing things, I think it's more complicated than I think. Maybe a firmware update is needed. But I would suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem before doing any firmware update. I hope I can assist you more on this matter.
