I lost my instructions for installing my MS wireless laser desktop 4000 keyboard/mouse. The Intellitype software has been installed but I'm not sure what the next steps are to get my keyboard/mouse working. Please assist. thanks

Where can I find users manual for MS Wireless

I found what I wanted by navigating as follows:

Control Panel -> Devices and Printers -> Wireless Comfort Keyboard -> Configure My Keyboard -> Keyboard Properties -> Key settings.

let windows install the drivers for the software (mouse) or use the installation CD that came with it then restart the computer

Keyboard not functioning properly

I had a similar problem with a new MS 4000 Keyboard. I found that I had two versions of the IntellPoint software on my Vista system. I uninstalled the older version (which came with my new computer) and the keyboard seems to be working well now. Check your system via the Control Panel, Install/Uninstall Programs and look for the MS IntellPoint software. Good luck.

Hi

You can download the latest drivers HERE
First download the mouse software. Choose Laser Mouse 6000 from the dropdown menu

Next download the keyboard software. Choose laser keyboard 5000 from the dropdown menu.

This should solve your problem..

Installation problem

Go to your control panel and then click add remove programs. Uninstall your old mouse and keyboard programs and then try to install the Microsoft one again. That should fix your problem.

Http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/documentation/default.aspx try this link for instructions and downloads. hope this is helpful. also if you can try it on another pc-see if it has a problem. i use that same set, and only when battery dies i have a problem. otherwise it is great! be well!

Need Parts List for Microsoft Keyboard 4000, Model 1045 - Dropped the keyboard and space bar is not working. Plastic on under side of space bar is broken. Where can I find Parts List and supplier?
