This normally happens when the reserve battery in the UPS has run out of power. It can be caused by the battery not being charged by the UPS circuitry or by the fact that the battery is old and will no longer hold sufficient charge to make the UPS work correctly in the event of a mains power failure. Some UPS systems have computer connection so that the status of the UPS can be monitored and configured.

Check that your ups mains cord is connected to AC Power Supply. This happens due to low voltage / no supply ion AC outlet.

It needs to be charged or pluged in. If that has already been done, it's not charging and the internal or external fuse is blown.

I changed the power supply on my acer aspire e700 and it beeps continuosly non stop with no picture on screen, the last power supply blew. it had a graphics card when i bought it but it stopped working so...

You may have more problems than just he power supply from when the old power supply went out. The mainboard could be bad.

Make sure it's unplugged from power from the wall, then check that the memory is seated correctly. Check for anything else that may be out of place or not fully connected.

There are also different beep codes for different errors. They've mostly been standardized, but may vary by mainboard as well. Here's a link to common POST beep codes and their meanings:

My toshiba satelite laptop beeps continuosly, non-stop

First, check the memory (RAM) of your computer. remove and put it back in. Also checkif therre is only one or two memory sticks in, so you can check on both. It should work fine, and if not, try replacing the memory of your laptop.

When i turn the computer on it starts then

SOS beeps are post codes the computer sends to alert you of problems detected during start up.

The beeps can mean anything from over heating to bad memory detected. Find out what your Motherboard bio is and check Here. This has a handy beep code listing for many of the common mother boards.
Good luck!
Hope this helps!

Beeps on start up

Hi there.
The continuous beeping means that there is a problem with the memory, take the system memory out and clean the brass contacts, then reseat the memory and try to boot the PC up again.
The memory is located behind a panel underneath the laptop like this >>>>>> e1bc638.jpeg.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!
