Dvd rw not read my cam dvd

There is nothing wrong if you want to replace it with generic or branded DVDrom drive. As long as compatible with your motherboard. If you are using IDE or UDMA cable you must buy IDE DVDrom drive but if it's SATA cable you have to buy SATA DVDrom drive.Good Luck

nothing is wrong with ypur laptopmotherboard. i suggest you to use original charger. doublicate charger are not good for laptops .

you could try removing the cmos battery in the bottom of the laptop look in manual to see how or you could install using usb external dvdrom set bios to boot from usb dvdrom first

It's likely a laser alignment problem inwhich you will need to replace the hardware. However, I had a similar problem once with a notebook and found out that a tiny bread crumb was near the spindal making the cd in the drive off balance. Check liberally for any debris. Good luck!

DVD/CD players use two different lasers. One to read DVD and one to read CD. Sounds like your DVD laser burned out. Lasers last about as long as light bulbs do.

get your dvd writer service or try cd lens cleaner spray or cd proir servicing the dvdrom.........hopethis will help you.....Sameeraryan

try to update the frmware of the dvd drive from the dvd drive vendor site. 

Check first under my computer/computer if you can see the DVD/CD Rom drive.  If not detected, follow the steps on this link...
