Is there any problems with the wall lantern? Part Number: 147340 We have bought three, in the past two weeks, and we had to exchange all three. They would run for three days, and then wouldn't work at all.

Modern Chinese lanterns made for home decorations are filling the current market. These are available in shops coming in different shapes and colors. The current designs contain strings or cords that are used to supply power and for attaching the indoor home lanterns available. These lanterns use minimal amount of power and are able to use a battery for a long period. Hanging these lanterns on the wall creates a good finished look. The Chinese lanterns are easy to light up using their battery power sources as well as they are permanent objects unlike outdoor lanterns used during festivities and are later released to the skies above.
I just bought a retro rechargeable sealed battery, recently. I charged it for 18 hours, the lights all worked, but I don't remember the green light comming on.i put the lantern away for 3 months or so.i decided to check the the battery light out first week of june, the light was there, then I said let me charge it up again, I never seen any green light come on showing it was fully charged. I took the battery out and checked the wires to see if there was a break. None that I could tell. After you take the battery out ,there is another section square that covers where the bulb is located, but I didn't touch that part yet. Stuck" on this one. Help"
It took me forever to figure out, but the "lanterns" are two poles (striped red and white like a candy cane) with three little lights on them. Two are square, one is circular. They are $1500.00.
Hi if its only a year old then you can get it exchanged under warranty if the date on the back is within 3 years then your covered by warranty for this fault you dont even need the receipt but if you do have it dig it out, now as long as the warranty sticker is still in place and the xbox has not been opened up then you will have no problems getting an exchange. try tacking it back to where you bought it from and explain to them that you have got the rrod fault and its covered by warranty for 3 years by microsoft if they wont exchange it for you then just go to the xbox webiste and it tells you on their what you need to do and who to ring to get it exchanged
if its been opened you wont be able to get an exchange so the only thing to do is get someone to repair it for you, the only problem with this is that their is no guarantee how long the repair will last.
i repair these for about 25 pound so you need to look around to see the best price you can get. it needs the x clamps removing and more secure ways of holding the heat sinks on the gpu and cpu chips it also need the heat sink paste removing and new paste putting on and hopefully this will solve your problem.
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
Try a different USB port... I'm assuming it is an external device. Also update your USB drivers if the system is older than 2 years and it is an XP machine. Other choice is to test on another PC to see if it replicates the problem. If you are not sure and you are within the warranty period... exchange it to be safe. Most HD's fail in a 60 day period... if you get past that time frame you are normally good to go.
This lantern/fan/radio combination does not use/accept batteries. It is recharged using the black A/C adapter provided with the lantern. I hope you received the adapter with the lantern when you bought it @ the garage sale? You plug the adapter into the little circular opening just above the round spotlight on the lantern. Hope this helps!
well try to call xbox technical support amd they will help you out. the number is 1-800-4myxbox. tell them your problem and they will most likely give you a box in the mail for you to send it in and after a few weeks later you should get a new one in the mail
