If the model you have is a Hoover windtunnel self-propelled model then you need this belt:

I do not know what Hoover model you have but most are equipped with two belts. The main belt runs the brush. The secondary belt is for the self propel mechanism. To replace this secondary drive belt you need to remove the primary belt. This is because the secondary drive belt runs inside the primary belt and can only really be seen clearly once it's removed.
If you have any trouble locating and or removing it please respond back and include the model # of your vacuum.
Hope this helps.

I can't find my manual. The model is Hoover Windtunnel U6470-900; Belt 38528-035; it's a Mach 6.9 Dirt Finder. I cannot find the model number on the internet. Thanks for your help thus far. RA
