I cannot access my old facebook account after another one was created using the same email address. I have not received any responses to my email requests to fix this problem.

We have one email account and I have just set up a facebook profile but now we can't access my husbands account

You can not have more than one facebook account. facebook doesn't allow that. I'm guessing you used one email address to create each account and the last one you created is the one that works. Well there is a way around this; get another email address for your husband. Use a different browser than the one you used to create your account. Have him create a facebook account with the new email address using the different browser. Then from then on you each use the browser you created your each accounts with. If you don't, eventually facebook will think you're the same person having two account and lock one of them down.

I am all having a problem with the Facebook Mobile site. When I log on and try to click on anything I keep getting the message to Confirm email & to enter Confirmation Code. Bert frustrating.

Hi. I had a similar problem... it can be fixed! Email facebook and explain what happened. Be patient and persistent.
send email to:
[email protected]
the first email I received back from them (day after I emailed) was generic saying:
"Our records indicate that there is not a disabled account associated with the address you are writing from. If you are referring to another account that has been disabled, please contact us directly from the email address you use to log in to that account..."
Except the email I was using DID belong to my missing account. So I replied with the SAME original message. And detailed what happened to my account.
I received a SECOND response, identical to the first.
I emailed them AGAIN detailing what happened.
FINALLY (about 1 1/2 weeks later) I received this email:
"Hi Chelsey,
Your original account has been reactivated and you should be able to access it now. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any further questions, please visit our Help Center at the following address:

How can I make sure I don’t lose access to my account?

In the event that you forget your password, you will need to request a password reset. This password reset email will only go to email addresses that you have confirmed on your account. As such, if you are unable to access the email addresses on your Facebook account, you will not be able to receive your password reset email and may lose access to your account completely. You can prevent this situation by taking the following measures:
  • Add a secondary email address to your Facebook account.
  • Add a security question to your Facebook account.
  • Make sure email addresses on your Facebook account are active (you are able to access them).
  • Maintain accurate information on your profile, such as name, date of birth, and email addresses. This helps us locate your account, should you lose access to it.

When you do a seach on my name I see an old Facebook account. I don't know the e-mail address it was created under. Is there anyway to find out what the e-mail address was for this old account?

The best solution will be to email facebook support and ask them to email the account (assuming you still have access to your old email accounts). Otherwise you will need to prove that it is your account. Whatever you do you will need to message facebook support.
