I have a sonic wall TZ170 and I am trying to configure a VPN connection however I seem to be having a problem the configuration page continues saying error on page.

1 Tap the "Settings" icon.

2 Select the "General" option.

3 Tap the "Network" button.

4 Select the "VPN" option.

5 Select the "Add VPN Configuration" button.

6 Select the tab that corresponds to the type of VPN network you are trying to connect to. You can select "L2TP," "PPTP" and "IPSec."

7 Enter a description of the VPN" in the "Description" field. Enter the IP address of the VPN in the "Server" field and enter your VPN user name in the "Account" field. If you use a password to access the VPN, enter your case-sensitive password in the "Password" field.

8 Tap the "Save" button located in the upper right corner to save your VPN settings.

9 Move the switch located to the right of "VPN" to the "On" position. Your iPod will automatically connect to the VPN network.

please select nebios option in hq site tz190 firewall.

- Check the Internet if working properly?
- Access the configuration page of your router and open the firewall settings, uncheck the list below:

Enable PPTP Passthough
Enable L2TP Passthough
Enable IPSec Passthough

- Try to gather some VPN ports to open using the router.

Note: You should have your permission from the connection of VPN to use it.

- Logon to the configuration page of your D-Link.
- Go to Advanced tab
- And Click on Firewall Settings on the left side
- Under that look for Application Gateway Level at the bottom and you must uncheck at the box on it and click on save settings at the top.

sonic is sitting on the gateway. so dont matter where u are still u cant get outside

You can havemultiple VPN`s, and port forward to anyewhere on the inside or dmz.

Need to know what you are trying to achieve.
