Since you did not give much info, let us try.

Make sure you have the correct card for the camera you have.
This camera Kodak Easyshare P850 requires the following memory card. MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital (SD) Card.

Since this camera is a few years old 5.1 mpxl, it may have a limit on the size of cd card you can use. If you are using a large card, go to a smaller card and see what happens, for instance a 512 meg. card.
This camera may have an upgrade for the firmware, and may make it work better. You have to check the Kodak site for such upgrades and info on how to install the upgrade to the firmware.
If upgrades for the firmware is available, it will improve some of the features on the camera. Always worth the time to check.

Hope it works.

I am trying to fix a nintendo DS I. XL for someone it stopped reading games but everything else works how would I fix that ?

Are these regular games or those from a ROM card? If the DS has been updated, the ROM cards won;t work. You might be able to update the ROM card itself if there is a patch but if regular games are working then the DS is fine

Why won't my camera won't read the sd card I'm using?

8 gB is SDHC. Try less than 4 gB maybe even 256 mB to see if it will read those cards. But lately, all stores only sell HC cards. Try ebay, and they may charge an arm and a leg for old cards?

Card in camera reads "card error". Won't pull

First try cleaning the tiny gold contact points on the card with a small pencil eraser, or a cotton swab with a small amount of rubbing alcohol on it. Next, if the card is still unrecognized, you may need to use recovery software with your PC to recover the pictures. In that case, recommend trying the corrupted card procedures at this link.

Hi, I am trying to use an R4i card on a dsi. It has worked in the past and then just stopped so thinking it was the card i bought a new one. I formatted the sd card then downloaded the updated kernal,...

Hi Tracey,

Did you buy a fake card? If you did, you probably updated the software on your Nintendo DS and now it won't read it. This is normal for most clone cards since they can't actually be updated to use Nintendo's latest firmware.

The real R4i card has manufacturers website www.r4i-sdhc.com, NOWHERE ELSE. Check to see if the one you have has this website on it. If not, and you need a genuine one in the US/Canada, use DSCardWorld.com who are a preferred seller of the authentic ones. They also list NDS-Gear.com but I think they mainly do UK/European orders.

Make sure battery has a full charge. Use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, what is the reading? The generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts. Note the reading. Leave the leads touching the battery posts, have helper turn key to crank, how much does the reading drop? Usually it shouldn't drop below 9.6 volts or there about. If it drops to zero, try charging the battery. Check battery cables. Did you try jumper cables to see if it would crank?

Prepaid sim card in E71 Nokia won't work, screen shows 'sim card rejected'. Tried in two different phones, same result.

It means your sim card is rejected by the Service Operator. You might have attempted to enter wrong PUK code several times. Your only option is to call the customer care of your Service Operator and get their help. Please follow this LINK and read the instructions about PUK and all about it.

Good Luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

My computer recently got a virus, and although it has been fixed, it no longer recognizes my camera being plugged in. I downloaded the new software directly from the kodak site thinking that would solve...

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

The sd card will not read

Usually this means you have the wrong kind of card. If this is a new card and it won;t work then thats all it is. Most gps units will handle the older slower sd cards but have problems with the HD or high speed or large capacity ones. Generally any 2gb card will be safe to use but you have to be carefull on the 4gb and up sizes.

If it is an old card that you used before you can try to use your pc or laptop to fix it or reformat it and reload your data. This usuallyfixes it unless the card itself has died on you.
