Sony generally drives their power light from a source that does not rely on the amplifier's switching power supply. This means that it's not a good indicator as to the health of the amplifier.
As long as you have B+ and remote voltage, it will light up. Since you've tested the speaker and the signal source, I think the amplifier is likely defective.

The ground was nice and tight. HAd all kinds of power going to the amp just no output to the speakers.
I had proper voltage that is why I sent out this request for other Ideas. the led is lit and the remote lead has power to it also.
It probably has an intermittent connection if it was going in and out. Do the following to confirm that you have sufficient B+ and remote voltage as well as a good ground. With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter probe on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red probe alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low. If both the B+ and remote turn-on lines are low and your battery is fully charged, you may have a bad ground connection. If that's OK. Does the power or protection LED light up?
