Rca ctc195 big screen tv trouble

You are likely to have a high voltage transformer bad which is common problem for ctc 195 RCA If you look into the back of the tv it is the white square looking thing about 3 inches across by 3 inches with the large red wire coming from it and going back into the set. Must have original RCA part and must be unsoldered and solder in new one. Not to be done by the untrained. Average cost to come out and repair is $250 to $300. depending on the repairman (Note: the chassis is in a complete wooded chipcore box that will come out with quarter inch nutdriver and unplug two plugs at the top of the box The box or chassis can be taken to the repair shop leaving the screen at your home saving a service call.
