Hey heads up! The ice-cube maker has two parts... In fancy terms the business motor end, and the back-stop. Your back-stop is all busted. Mostly because it's been used successfully as a backstop for a few thousand times. The piece costs about $20, and you can get it at any Samsung parts distributor. The best way to check this is that your ice-cube tray will look like it's coming un-hinged in the back when it attempts to empty the ice.
When it works properly the ice-cube tray is actually contorted about 45 degrees from the front end to the back. The same way an adult male would crush ice.
An hour of searching the Internet and this is the answer I suspect to why many Samsung ice makers stop emptying the ice. The rear of the unit that that holds the ice tray is a plastic grid, with an oval hole that the ice tray male axle goes into. As the tray is dumped, the ice maker normally "twists" it. When the plastic grid cracks or breaks, the tray won't twist as the unit attempts to dump the ice. I took my unit out, found the broken pieces, and plan to epoxy a repair. Almost free to fix, and no service call!

I am not sure, but I believe there is a heater in the icemaker assembly that heats the tray to help the ice cubes release. From your comment about the tray not emptying it sounds like this heater is not working.
A competent service person might be able to fix this component within the icemaker, but it might be more cost effective for you to replace the entire icemaker.
