How to connect my laptop wirelessly to the belkin router?

You may want to click to wireless network icon on the bottom part on the rght part of your monitor and search for network. Then you may want to chose your network and, if you chosed this option, to type the password for the network.

To setup the router you will need to log in to your router's control panel. This certainly won't be as simple as on the installer disc, yet it is still do-able. You might also want to contact Belkin's free technical support hot line. They can help you set it up with the method I described above.

the red light means u havent got a connection if u have installed properly try upgrading the firmware the problem might be the routers

On the Belkin routers the configuration IP address is 192.168.2.1
and the default PW = (blank)
If you cannot remember the new password that you changed then there is a reset button on the back of the router. Press this reset buttom with the power on for 7 secs.and it will restart, enter the default Username and Password.
