Navman iCN 520N disassembly

The screw which holds the pivot for the folding antenna on the rear of my iCN 520 has come loose (I found the screw) - this has allowed the pivot pin to fall inside the housing of the GPS.
How do I seperate the 2 halves of the case so I can gain access inside? I have already removed the 4 screws on the rear of the case, but something is still preventing it from coming apart.

Its tricky! Take the SD card out and watch the volume control as both these items prevent the two halves from seperating. I damaged my volume control adjustment when seperating.....

I found that if you open out the receiver at the back and make sure it is touching the windscreen it works for me. If not I don't get a signal. It is worse in one of our cars because it has a heat reflective windscreen.

Well I have done it with my magnifying glass dentists pick & my fine nosed wire cutting tweaser, and time... But more often it is easier to Disassemble the units & simply unsolder the Female Socket from the Board and replace with a new one, then ya can buy the connectors as a pair.. ensuring proper fit.
