RCA 27 NO PIC / SOUND - Binking green light

RCA 27" tv Model F27TF700 No picture no sound Just a blinking green light.
This happened overnight while the tv was turned off.light. 88 year old mothers tv - No Money or very little. What can you tell me ?

I ouldn't find any good news on the web about this,
so i did a bit of research and discovered that it wouldn't cost me much more than the cost of repair if I went to Best Buy and bought a new HD-TV.
Wow ! The prices have really come down !
Now I'm glad that it malfunctioned !

T.V won't turn back on
Sounds like a component shorted out for sure. I will guess he will say, "It needs a new power board". I would guess a transistor or microchip burnt out. Probably ESD damage from a new factory worker.

it sound like a fly back or horz output problem . This is a high voltage problem. very common in rca tvs the cost to fix it depends on size 85 dollars up to 250 dollars
