Here's how send a picture in a message.
1. Press the Center Select Key
2. Press the Navigation Key to scroll to Messaging, and press the Center Select Key
3. Press the Navigation Key and scroll down to Create Message, and press the Center Select Key
4. Press the Navigation Key and scroll down to New MMS Message, and press the Center Select Key
5. Press the keypad to enter desired text
6. Press Options, by pressing the left soft key
7. Highlight Insert, and press the Center Select Key
8. Highlight Picture, and press the Center Select Key
9. Press the Navigation Key and scroll up or down to the desired picture
10. Press Insert, by pressing the left soft key
11. Press Send To, by pressing the right soft key
12. Press the Navigation Key, and scroll down to desired contact, and Press the Center Select Key
13. Press Send, by pressing the right soft key

yeah i have the same problem. when i first tried to register my account it got me one step further and asked me to enter a password. so i did, clicked continue and it kept prompting me for the same thing. now it gives me the error message and won't let me do anything.
I get the same problen asks to set password fir pic msgs then gives error 256
I have the Bell Double Flip.. Samsung u740 i think it is.. and i have unlimited browsing, texting and picture messaging but whenever i try to register my picture phone it says "There was an error trying to register your phone. (256)" Does anyone know what that means or how i can fix it? Is my phone broken or is it something i can fix myself instead of sending it in for service..? Thanks :)

I am having the same problem.....i set a password but it just keeps going back to the same screen...guess it's time to call Bell
