Bissell ProHeat Rug and Floor cleaner. Won't

My pro heat 2x was in the same boat... would not dispense water. I called the bissell service line, and they told me they have authorized their service centers to repair a "won't dispense liquid" complaint even though the warranty is passed. When I went to the service center, the technician told me that bissell has such a problem with this that they will continue to warrant the repair through the life of the machine!

I haven't got my machine back, but when I do, I will make sure I empty the soap dispenser after each use, and run some clear hot water through the system before putting it away. that might help keep the little solenoid valves from plugging up.
