Follow this procedure:
1. Turn the Wii console on and wait until the "Health & Safety" screen appears (don't press A).
2. Open the SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console, just below the disc drive, and press and hold the red SYNC button for 15 seconds. This will clear all synced Wii Remotes from the console.
3. Resync the Wii Remote by removing the battery cover and pressing the red "SYNC" button. Do this for all Wii Remotes you wish to use, and test for proper response.
4. If the steps above do not work, remove the batteries of the Wii Remote and leave them out for at least 2 or 3 minutes. Reinsert the batteries and sync the Wii Remote again. Test for proper response.
If after removing the batteries for several minutes, and resyncing the Wii Remote, your still unable to get the Wii Remotes to work, try syncing another Wii Remote if available.
* If another Wii Remote works, then your previous Wii Remote will need to be repaired.
* If multiple Wii Remotes do not work, or you only have one Wii Remote, a repair of the Wii console is necessary.

I bought a base and one extension phone - no problem - bought another extension phone and it will not register

The new phone must fit into the base cradle for registering to even be attempted. You gave no model numbers, it is likely your newest handset is not compatible with the rest of your system... but we can sometimes "cheat". If the new handset is displaying "To register, place on base..." but it simply does not fit -- try removing the battery cover and see if wiggling the handset will allow the "charging" lamp to come on: then wait to see if it will register. You can find the base model number on a small sticker on the bottom of the base, the handset model numbers are on stickers under the battery.

Batteries won't charge

There are a few reasons why a battery won't charge. Make sure that the contacts on the phone and the charging cradle are clean. (Unplug the base or charger.) A pencil eraser is good initial cleaner; electronic contact cleaner sprays are a second option. Remove the battery and check the contacts inside the handset and the battery as well. Next replace the battery pack. If you add a comment with your phone's model number, then I can try to find the correct battery. (Stores like Battery Mart may have a compatible battery.)

The final possible problem is that the charging system is bad. If your phone has multiple handsets, try a different charger. If the phone allows you to add handsets, try getting a new handset. The new handset will come with a new charger. (I've never seen the chargers sold without the handset but you could try Uniden customer service. If the base station is the only handset cradle, you'll probably need to replace the phone if a new battery and clean contacts don't work.

If your Uniden phone is under warranty, contact the company.

I hope this helps.

My kyocera wont turn on. when i plug it in to

i have had several of these handsets and i have noticed that there are several batteries that will fit into the battery compartment of the phone, however just because the batteries fit, that doezn't mean that it is the correct one. i went online and ordered the battery for this phone model on ebay several times and everytime, i got the same result: the battery fit in the phone, i plug it in to the charger and the phone would light up and say: PHONE IS OFF **** it did not say phone is charging**** when i turned the phone on (with it plugged in) it turned on and everything seemed normal except the battery icon was missing from the right hand top corner of the display. i looked up the kyocera website and looked up the compatibility matrix and it was absolutely 0 help. finally i figured it out because i buy and sell phones on ebay and i received a used phone with the battery in it and it worked, the # printed under the barcode on the front of the battery is 020609606036. i also purchased a brand new handset that was still in factory packaging and i took note of the # on this battery also and it was the same as above but the last two digits are 35. i have not researched any other batteries for functionality on this handset, however, there may be more that do. these 2 OEM batteries i listed above do indeed work in the handset for sure

Uniden cordless handsets don't hold charge

Have you tried replacing the batterys with new rechargables? if not open up the back and replace old batterys with new ones, just see if it works with a normal non rechargable batterys if it does buy some new rechargable, other than that your base i.e. charger may be faulty most likely it is the batterys.

Uniden TCX905 cCordess phone Handsets # 3 and 4

If the handsets are not currently registered to any base, the SYSTEM RESET menu won't appear.

If the TCX905 handsets in question are actually expansion handsets from another Uniden Phone System, they are not true TCX905 handsets. To verify, remove the battery cover and battery, then look at the inside label. If it lists the model of a TRU9xxx phone system, your handsets are NOT TCX905.

Uniden unfortunately has programmed the expansion handsets from SINGLE LINE TRU9xxx phone systems to NOT REGISTER against the TRU9466. (Those same handsets register fine against predecessor model TRU8866 though).

Just bought an additional handset for GE 27951 expandable 6.0 DECT Cordless. I press and hold the Page button for 5 seconds but the new handset will not register. Error keeps occurring "no base."

This exact thing happened to me. Same model number. No matter what I did, the new handsets would not register.

The solution? Reset the entire system:
1. On the BASE - Unplug from wall both power and phone line. Unplug battery from base handset.
2. ON the Extension phone - unplug from wall and unplug battery from handset.
3. Wait AT LEAST 5 minutes.
4. Plug back in BASE power.
5. Plug back in BASE phone line.
6. Plug back in EXTENSION handset battery. Don't plug in BASE handset yet.
7. Follow steps to program EXTENSION. When successful:
8. Plug back in BASE handset battery.

Uniden handset TCX905 with base unit TRU8866-if compatible?

I just successfully registered 4 TCX905s with my TRU8865 base - it's documented in the TCX905 manual.

Be sure the handset you want to register is fully charged.

Remove the handset you want to register from its charger.

Now unplug the AC for the main base, hold down the 'find handset' key on the base and plug the AC in again, when it beeps, you can let go of that button.

Hold down the '#' on the handset you want to register, it will show 'Registering Handset...' and when it beeps, it's done - registered, you're good to go :)
