Siemens Condensor Dryer E46-38. After a few minutes the clean filter light activates and stops the operation. I have cleaned and checked the obvious places. Can you help?
Mine is 4 years old and the pump went within 8 months! The dryer has had 6 new pumps in total! It was last fixed 6 months ago and now playing up again! I dont even constantly use my dryer! I am very disappointed with Siemens now, my last dryer lasted me 10 years and it was constantly on the go when my children were young! Here comes, tomorrow I have got to book another repair! No more Siemens for me.

Hi Guys...
At least I can shed some light on how to open the bottom part.
When you are looking into the dryer with the door open, take a look at the bottom hinge of the door. There is what looks like to be button popped out slightly..
Place your thumb on it and press. This should open the bottom part of the dryer. Then clear out the gap between where the lint filter connects to the other units below it (when the door is closed...)
Hope this makes sense... there seems to be a sensor there..
I just cleaned mine so praying that the beeps stop.. Its been driving us mad for the last 8 months!

call bosch. they are having problems with one of the sensor in that dryer. they try to fix it but in my experiance they end up having to swap out the dryer

I had the same problem. It actually has nothing to do with the filters. If your dryer sounds like it wants to start the capacitor is blown.

When I pull up the exploded view of your model, it does not show an individual moisture sensor, but is does show disconnect plug(s) for it. I can only assume that the sensor bars are an intrical part of one of the front bulkhead components. That all being said, the most common reason for your symptoms is when people use fabric softener sheets in the dryer, the sheets leave a waxy type coating on the silver sensor bars inside the drum, near the air inlet to the lint filter. If you clean those two (usually about 4 inch long x about 1/4 inch wide) metal bars off, they will be able to detect the moisture level of the clothing again, and your dryer will work on auto dry again.

Maybe a sensor at the back sensed overheating. You might be able to remove the backplate and search for a little button, which acts as some sort of reset button. (I do have a different tumble dryer, but it's the same brand and had similar problems). Maybe more ventilation is needed to prevent this from happening again.
