Mine is 4 years old and the pump went within 8 months! The dryer has had 6 new pumps in total! It was last fixed 6 months ago and now playing up again! I dont even constantly use my dryer! I am very disappointed with Siemens now, my last dryer lasted me 10 years and it was constantly on the go when my children were young! Here comes, tomorrow I have got to book another repair! No more Siemens for me.

SOURCE: bosch maxx wtl 6300 dryer when

Hi Guys...
At least I can shed some light on how to open the bottom part.
When you are looking into the dryer with the door open, take a look at the bottom hinge of the door. There is what looks like to be button popped out slightly..
Place your thumb on it and press. This should open the bottom part of the dryer.  Then clear out the gap between where the lint filter connects to the other units below it (when the door is closed...)
Hope this makes sense... there seems to be a sensor there..  I just cleaned mine so praying that the beeps stop.. Its been driving us mad for the last 8 months!

I had the same problem. It actually has nothing to do with the filters. If your dryer sounds like it wants to start the capacitor is blown.

SOURCE: GE Profile Dryer - sensor problem

When I pull up the exploded view of your model, it does not show an individual moisture sensor, but is does show disconnect plug(s) for it. I can only assume that the sensor bars are an intrical part of one of the front bulkhead components. That all being said, the most common reason for your symptoms is when people use fabric softener sheets in the dryer, the sheets leave a waxy type coating on the silver sensor bars inside the drum, near the air inlet to the lint filter. If you clean those two (usually about 4 inch long x about 1/4 inch wide) metal bars off, they will be able to detect the moisture level of the clothing again, and your dryer will work on auto dry again.

Maybe a sensor at the back sensed overheating. You might be able to remove the backplate and search for a little button, which acts as some sort of reset button. (I do have a different tumble dryer, but it's the same brand and had similar problems). Maybe more ventilation is needed to prevent this from happening again.

2-year-old Siemens WT44B202IN condenser dryer - reservoir light shows full - error

Check the time limit for warranty on the repair. It is often 6 months. It sounds like a sensor problem. I was hoping there might be a Service Manual for it.

Bosch Maxx7 sensitive - WTV74100ME/15 - stop after 1 minute , 3 beeps all the time , flushing lights together for heat and open door icon.

The issue you are experiencing with your Bosch Maxx7 sensitive dryer could indeed be related to a faulty heat sensor or a clogged vent. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the vent: Ensure that the dryer vent hose is not clogged or blocked. A blocked vent can prevent hot air from circulating in the dryer and trigger the overheat sensor to shut down the machine.
  2. Clean the lint filter: Remove the lint filter and clean it thoroughly. A clogged lint filter can also cause the dryer to overheat and shut down.
  3. Check the heating element: If the heating element is faulty, the dryer may not heat properly or may overheat and trigger the sensor to shut down the machine.
  4. Reset the machine: Turn off the power to the dryer for a few minutes and then turn it back on. This may reset the machine and resolve the issue.
If none of these troubleshooting steps resolve the issue, it may be best to contact a qualified technician to inspect and repair the machine.

Hotpoint condensing dryer model TCFS93BGP. cleanfilter/empty water light keeps coming on after 3/4 minutes

Hi, my dryer has 3 things to check out of which one is more hidden:
- empty the water reservoir
- clean filter in the door
- clean condensor which is hidden below the bottom panel which has to be released through a button behind the door

The last one is less obvious and more difficult to find/reach. Might need to consult the manual.

Did you check all 3?

Hope this helps

I have a Siemens e44-10 dryer. It works for few mins and that stops. The light looks like. Up of water flashes. I cleaned all filters, and the water tank is empty. Can u help me?

I had the same problem above. I tok the side panel off and disconected the float and cleaned it. I noticed alot of water mixed with dust. I used a dry cloth to get the water away and made sure the reservour was clean. I assembled everything and it is all working. Tips, make sure the condense tray is emptied after each Washington aswell as the dust filter. Clean out bottom filter once a month. This saved me having to buy a new machine and tok just half an hour. Phew, money in the pocket!

Asko t702c stops working after about 5 minutes

If you continue to try to run the dryer after the automatic shut off kicks-in it will shut the cycle down with no flashing lights after the dryer reaches a critical and dangerous temperature. If the dryer is skipping immediately to this step without any flashing lights then call an Asko certified repairman as something may be wrong with the machine. If you have not tried cleaning the condensor, please do this as well. Remove the bottom housing of the dyer, move the two red handle to the right, and pull out the condensor unit. Wash it under warm/hot water using a bathtub or shower and you will see lint and dust come out by the heapful. Replace the condensor unit, wait about 30-45 minutes, and then try restarting your dry cycle.
