Bottom sray spinner doesn't spin. Computer and

Bottom sray spinner doesn't spin. Computer and grinder are fine. A year ago we replaced the computer because the spinner wouldn't spin. We just replaced the computer again (it was burnt out), but this time it didn't fix the problem. The grinder and all the mechanisms below the water sprayer works, but the sprayer won't spin. The water flows out of the sprayer, but there doesn't seem to be enough force to spin it around. I have taken the whole thing apart and cleaned it really well.

Make sure that the spray bar when lifted by the water pressure is NOT hitting the dish rack OR has excessive friction. Test by manually lifting and turning.

Also the jets must exit at an angle to provide the torque.

Frigidaire/electrolux dishwasher not cleaning top rack

There is a circulating pump that takes water from the bottom and pushes it to the top spinner. Most likely that pump is clogged or needs to be replaced. Replacement is a somewhat involved repair that requires removal of the lower pump assembly. It can be done DIY if you are comfortable with disconnecting a/c power to the unit, removing the unit and making tight hose re-connections. Before you do that - maybe check the intake for clogs that may be slowing the water flow. Have you routinely cleaned the bottom intake? (Most likely not ...) You can start by cleaning the bottom intake by usually removing the lower spin arm, then take out the catch ring and check for obstructions. The spin arm rests on a cap that can be removed to then remove the screen assembly. Be careful not to force the part in the wrong direction - with these you usually turn the spin cap right to unlock from the base. Then you can access the intake area - be careful as there are probably blades inside the intake that work as the disposal grinder. Remove the soap scum and buildup on all removal parts with a simple sponge and baking soda scrub. Do not attempt to run the machine with parts removed.

Kenmore agitates doenst spin

You will have to look at the inside of the washer when in spin cycle to see what is going on. Is the spinner motor not engaging the drum? Is the spinner working at all? It sounds like the spinner isn't being moved against the drum before the spin cycle starts. Most washers use a seperate spinner motor, which is lifted off the drum by a relay and / or solenoid and if one or more of those is malfunctioning, it will cause your described problem.

Two weeks ago I paid > $100 for a full service (Saeco Magic Deluxe) and now the machine won't grind the coffee beans. Any suggestions so I can be a bit "knowledgable" if I need to take it...

Hi
If the grinder is spinning your grind set is too fine. Push the lever below the bean hopper to the back. It can go to a coarser setting anytime but the grinder has to be spinning to make it finer. They may not have set the grinder correctly. Have them walk you through the process. It also takes about 2 to 3 times before the grinder fills to work.

My washer had stopped spinning about two weeks ago, we replaced thecoupler and it worked fine but today it stopped spinning again

1
Unplug the washing machine, and turn off the water supply to the machine. If necessary, remove the water hoses from the back of the washing machine because they may be in the way of the access panel.
2
Check that the agitator is seated correctly by opening the lid of the washing machine. If it's loose, pop off the top of the agitator--if there is one--and tighten the bolt that holds the agitator in place. Or, in some models, simply pull straight up and then reseat the agitator.
3
Remove the access panel located in the back of the washing machine by unscrewing the screws holding it in place. This allows access to the drive motor.
4
Press on the drive belt that works the agitator. If the belt moves more than 3/4 inch, tighten the belt to fix the spinner problem. If the belt is worn or cracked, replace the belt.
5
Replace the drive motor, if tightening or replacing the drive belt doesn't fix the agitator. Purchase a new drive motor at a wholesale retailer. Disconnect wiring, remove screws holding motor in place and insert new motor. Screw into place, and connect wiring.
6
Check for any black substance leaking under the washing machine. This might indicate a clutch problem, if the washing machine spinner is not working. Contact a professional repairman to replace the clutch.

We have had our grinder 3 years. About 6 months ago it started leaking lots of ground coffee on the counter but still worked fine. Two weeks ago it just completely stopped working. It does not make a...

Hello Darla, if the grinder will not run or make a sound, it usually means that the motor isn't getting power. Make sure it plugged in of course but your main switch may have gone bad and needs to be replaced. As far as leaking grinds; you must have a bad seal between the doser and the mill housing. Feel free to give me an email if you need more info or parts.

Drum seems off balance....

You likely have a corroded/broken spinner assembly on the back of the inner tub. If your washer is out of warranty it is usually cost-prohibitive to repair. We usually quote about $350-$400 parts and labor for it. If you can wiggle the inner basket relative to the outer, that confirms a broken spinner.

Clean on bottom rack but dirty on top

Clean the filter at the bottom of the tub. If it is dirty or clogged the water pressure may not be strong enough to spin the top arm. Make sure also the there is nothing blocking the holes of the spinner arm. If the filter and arm are clear then the pump may be failing.

Manual meat grinder no longer provides suction

Hi, I know you posted this several years ago but found a solution which might help you or others. I recently bought a used Rival grinder and the base would not stick. I tried to take off the black rubber base to look underneath and turned it about 45 degrees but it would not come off so I turned it back and pressed it back into place on the bottom. Just shifting and replacing the black base fixed it! Also make sure the base is all the way around the bottom and try to place a little water on the base too.
