On some keyboards, there's a hidden 'feature' where if you hit CAPS LOCK and Shift at the same time, everything works backwards, until you hit that combo again.

Try this and let me know if it pertains to you...

I have an HP Pavilion - CAP LOCKS goes on without touching cap locks. This solution works every time!! I hit the shift keys simultaneously on the left and right side about 10 quick taps.
It always takes care of it.

Capital letter on keyboard to write password

On a standard Qwerty keyboard the Caps lock or hold down the shift key to get a capital letter.

Touch screen keyboards are a bit more complex - mine starts with capitals and after the first letter reverts to lowercase and the shift key has to be touched again for another upper case letter.

Folder lock

1.Suppose you have a folder named abcd in D:\abcd.
2.In the same drive next to the folder create a new notepad
file with the exact statement
ren abcd abcd.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
3.Now save this text file as loc.bat
4.Create another notepad file and type
ren abcd.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} abcd
5.Save this as key.bat
6.Now there are two batch files . My acer keyboard shows caps lock on (on screen display) but in reality the caps lock is off. Same thing the other way round, when it shows caps lock off it types in caps. Help please.

This is a very strange one ..I never heard before ..but I think it is a windows error and can be fixed by reinstalling the windows from the recovery partition .To engage it ..look on screen at start cause teh key is indicated and if you press the key for recovery it will show the start screen ..choose to reinstall the system completely with drivers ..or install the drivers after from the same place .. remember to move personal files into D drive before doing ..cause all files in C drive will be deleted ..

How to change the uppercase and lowercase letters

Either by pressing and holding the shift key (on left and right of keyboard, looks like up arrow) while typing, or by pressing the CAPS LOCK key to put capitals on or off. The caps lock key is usually one above the left shift key.
If you cant find them just advise your make and model of computer and I could tell you exactly where the keys are.

Letter remains in uppercase

Is the caps lock key light on? If so hit the caps lock key to get the light to turn off. If it doesn't turn off then your keyboard is bad and will need to be replaced.

I dont know anything about cap locks i have to get a new password every time i log in to facebook and i dont know why they keep rejecting my password HELP

Caps lock is that key on the left side of your keyboard. When pressed, it makes all letters that are typed in into uppercase letters. For example; without caps lock pressed: "pressure". With caps lock pressed: "PRESSURE". If it mentions something about passwords being "case sensitive," this means that an uppercase letter A (A) is recognized differently than a lowercase letter A (a). Since you can't see your password being typed, it is important to make sure caps lock is not pressed. If this becomes too complicated, open up MS Word, notepad, or wordpad and type your password there so you can see it, then copy and paste the password into the password space on facebook. Good luck with that.
