My sansa e260 wont let me get videos it keeps sending them to pictures
Everytime i use media converter to upload video it sends the video to the photo menu on the sansa, and says to convert photo using media converter. But it's not a photo and should be in the video folder. I have used simple formats such as wmv and m-peg files from my camcorder. Please help, Thanks
Try converting them to quicktime movie format with a different program then put them in the folder
(must be in msc mode to put the videos in the folder

Use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert and transfer your pictures and videos. If you don't have the SMC, you can download the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0
The Sansa e260 only supports their video format, did you convert it to that format before trying to load it? You can find the converter here, on the right side of the page - http://www.sansa.com/support/sansa_e200/faqs
connect your sansa to the pc and then access the drive where PC created from sansa drive. you can delete or replace any video or music files there. but besure to upload sansa movie/video format. refer to your sansa manual for video format. Drivers utilities is in your CD utility that can help convert all video files.
The converter can only handle a few types of movie and picture files, anything else and it has a fit. Oddly enough, the converter can't do anything with .mov files.
the sansa media converter is only used for videos and pictures.
for song you go to my computer and u will see that it says sansa e260 you click on it then it will have files for music vieos pictures and recoding click on music and drag ur music on to it.
Allright. Once you have converted the videos to a compatable format (with this particular player its quicktime .mov.) copy paste them in a file called 'VIDEO' without the quotes and in caps. Then restart the player and it shoudl refresh the list and they should appear there. If not. Go into control panel, appearence and settings, folder options, folders and then make windows show hidden files/folders. Manually place the video files in the original video folder.
video "umbrella" by Rhinna will not convert
