Question about Samsung DLP HL-P4663W 46" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

We heard a buzzing fan like noise. We pulled the rear panle off and let the tv run and did not notice anything visibly wrong. We took a vacum and gently reoved dust from back of tv. Television worked for anothe rday with buzzing noise and then the buzzing noise accelerated and then there was a POP, techna color lights and then no picture. Bulb is good as we replaced the old bulb whih was sporadic but still worked with a new bulb. Both bulbs look intact.

pull the light assembly out clean it with a vacuum and some pressurized air spray and place it back in the TV, while it is out check the fans on either the inside or in the removable assembly for damage or other interference in operation...If this doent help dissemble/remove the rear of the enclosure ( 6-10 screws) and clean the insides carefully and then turn the tv on - being careful not to be touching ANYthing and see if you locate the culprit.....

sorry to tell you but the buzzing you here is the motor,,this is caused by the mains frequency and there is nothing wrong with them,, thats how they are,,,and if there screwed to a beem in the roof that amplifies the buzzing sounds then your stuck with it,

TV has started making a really loud buzzing noise, appears to be either the fan or color wheel, if I turn tv on and off multiple times it somethimes goes away...so loud can be heard throughout entire house

It the colors wheel,the fan don't make that much loud of a noise.When the colors wheel spins off it axis it make very loud squizzing and buzzing noises.

Outside unit fan want run,but i heard a buzzing noise so i took a stick and turned fan and it started running.But still want cool housr down.

Loud humming or high pitch buzzing noise coming from my rca dlp tv 50 inch

I have a very high pitched sound and when I move the tv it will stop for a second or two and then start again. The sound sometimes stops all together. But very high pitch sound.

Noise

That fan is in the tuner section which houses the Direc TV part as well. It runs no matter what you do and should NOT be disconnected by any means.
