Projection TV sets have two very common problems listed below.
Problem #1) Convergence
These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the
picture to look normal. This is called convergence.
When its out of alignment the video will look
3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the
time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection
TV sets including
Sony,
Samsung,
JVC,Philip
Magnavox,
Panasonic,
Akai,
Pioneer,
Hitachi,
Mitsubishi,
Zenith and others.

Mine is an RCA. What did you eventually have to replace in order to have it work properly? This is only a 18 month old television...
mine is the same it looks like a sidewards hour glass my screen sucked in sat the top and bottom and have a green blue and red line running across the screen any help would be good. all i did was press auto con and this happened from then on
I have Vertical Solid Narrow Red Line appearing on left hand side of the screen on my Pioneer Elite PRO-710HD TV.
Does anyone know if they is a problem in the Input/Output Board w/Jacks?
If so, how is this fixed and can it be fixed by owner?
Thanks!
