The screws are usually centred in the lower middle part on the rear of the TV, there will be four deep set coutersunk holes where the screws can be found. The stand is fixed to a pedestal arrangement which fits to the underside of the TV.

How to remove Stand from Sharp LC 46D64U TV

Should be 4 screws that hold the stand into place. There is usually either a difference in the screws or some other identifier at the screw hole that differentiate from the other screws.

How to repair vw

Lift Vehicle and place on axle stands. Remove wheels. Disconnect the lower control arm from the bolts that hold the ball joint, or from the knuckle. Undo the rear two bolts that hold the ''D'' shaped rear bush and the bolt that holds the forward bush. Have it pressed out and replace with new one. Reverse the procedure for installation. While the arm is out check the condition of the ball joints and replace if needed. After assembly have the front wheel alignment checked.

How to change transmission filter on a 1997 grand am GT

The filter is located inside the transmission pan. I prefer to do this procedure with the vehicle sitting level up on four jack stands. Position the jack at the lower body flange and at the center of the vehicle towards the front slightly. lift the vehicle in the air high enough to install two jack stands at each end of the body at the lifting pads. lower the vehicle onto the pads. roll the jack under the body and lift the other side up to the same height and place the other two jack stands in the same place on the other side. Place a large pan under the transmission pan and loosen all the pan bolts but do not remove them yet. Fluid will start to run out of the sides of the pan. Slowly loosen the bolts that are farthest away from you while holding the pan with your other hand. Drain more fluid out by slowly lowering the pan with your other hand. Once the fluid has stopped coming out, press the pan back up against the transmission and remove the rest of the bolts. Lower the pan straight down and place it in the drain pan. The filter should now be visible. It will either be held in by a single bolt or press fit into place. This is a messy job so, wear old clothes and always wear safety glasses when performing this procedure.
CAUTION : Use quality jack stands for this procedure. The gasket is usually reusable.

How to remove an alternator from a 2001 dodge intrepid 2.7l

  • Unhook the battery. Remove the negative cable first, then the positive one.

  • 2

Lift the front end of the car, using the jack, and place it on jack stands. Refer to your owner's manual for a placement diagram--they are in an unusual location for the 2001 Dodge Intrepid.

  • 3

Remove the plastic splash guard from the underside of the engine. It is held in place by several bolts.

  • 4

Unbolt the transmission cooler, then move it out of the way. Don't remove the hoses--just the bolts.

  • 5

Remove the brace that holds up the radiator. Use a jack stand to hold up the radiator.

  • 6

Loosen the adjustment T-bolt and pivot bolt on the alternator, but don't remove them. Remove the belt.

  • 7

Unscrew the nut that holds the battery cable to the alternator, then remove the cable. Unplug the other electrical connector, as well.

  • 8

    Unbolt and remove the alternator.

  • 9

Replace the alternator. The steps are the reverse of the removal procedure. Torque the nut on the battery cable to 90 in-lb. Torque the mounting and pivot bolts to 40 ft. lb.

Bad crankshaft sensor how to replace it?

Hi there, here are a few tips on how to go about the replacement:
    • To begin, Jack up the driver's side of the Sonata and slide the jack stands under the frame. Set the car down on the stands, with the stands resting directly beneath the frame.
    • Slide under and locate the the crank sensor. It is attached to the bottom side of the engine on the driver's side on your Sonata. It will also be the only plug-looking device, with three wires running from it.
    • Remove the mounting bolt that holds the sensor in place. This bolt can be removed with an open-end wrench.
    • Mark the three wires with paper showing which wires connect to which terminal. One terminal will be positive (+), one is a ground wire and the other is the sensor's feed wire, which runs back to the Sonata's power control module.
    • Remove the wires from their respective terminals with a Philips screwdriver.
    • Reconnect the wires to their respective terminals on the new sensor.
    • Hold up the new sensor and thread the mounting bolt back in place by hand. Tighten it with a wrench.
    • Lower the Sonata down from the jack stands and jack.
    Glad to be of help.....

I need to replace "shocks" in tailgate.

You need a deep 9/16 socket for the top nut, on a swivel would be great. Keep the jeep on the ground and remove the top nut first. Remove the bottom 1/2 inch nuts and bolts (2). Install in reverse order.

Jack up the front end and place on jack stands. Place jack stands on the frame behind the front wheels. Ensure stands are not in a place where they will slip and make sure vehicle is on an even surface as you do not want the vehicle to fall off of the stands, especially while you are under it. Remove tires once vehicle has been placed on the stands. Remove the top and bottom bolts from the long tubular shock. Then remove the bolts holding the coil shocks on. Because when doing this as there may be tension in the coil springs still. Replace the shocks and reinstall the bolts. This job is fairly simple but can be intimidating if you have never done it before. You will be amazed at how easy it actually is once you have done it. Just be sure to remember how everything came apart and you will be able to get everything back together just fine. You can use the jack to adjust the axle up or down to make getting the shocks out easier. Repeat for the rear. Good luck
