Try formatting the mmp3 player on he player itself. If you do not have this function in the software of your player, try to reset the mp3 player by pushing a pin into the small hole somewhere on the mp3 player for about 5 seconds. Hope this can solve your problem.

There are two modes of use for your player. Once you put music or files on it in one mode you can tell files are there but you can not access them or delete them. So, You have to access the files on the player the way they where put on the player. The modes are Msc & Mtp to see more about this click this link ...Solve your MP3 Player Connection Problem.
If the software is lost you need to search it in the scandisk website, then download the drive, then after that you can now delete the music of your MP3
What you should try is backing up your unit, if there are songs from any other source on your player other than the one main computer you use.
Determine whether the entire load is less than 2 GB and if so, then reformat your MP3 player to make use of space from songs which, though deleted from your player, (such deletions only decapitate the file header) still may occupy significant disk space which is at a premium on your player.
Totally reinstall your player and then load your music onto same, leaving some headroom (some portion of 2 GB i.e. 100 to 500 MB) on your player to allow for streaming of your music, which will enhance your enjoyment of same.
go to MY computer after you plugged you mp3 in. go to ILO (h:). double click it and it should show you all the songs on it go though and delete the songs

Instead of deleting the songs you may need to format.
If you haven't tryed this follow these simple steps.
To format your device first click on "Start" then click on "My Computer" now look for your mp3 player, if it hasn't been change the names usually called "Removable Disk", once you've found that right-click on it then click on "Format".
Now you've formatted put songs on then try your mp3 player to see if the problems be fixed.
You can manually delete the music thru My Computer.
My Computer>Device Name (c250)>Media>Music You can see all of the music by albums and delete what you want.
Please add to this question if you need more assistance.
