No playback on camera

I got the samsung s730 digital camera and if i take a video i cant seem to play it back. could you tell me what i might be doing wrong?

    I have the same issue. To clarify I am not trying to playback video on the camera that works as described. I am trying to offload the the video but it only shows individual frames(files) and and audio file. how do i get it in a format I can playback on the pc or burn to Cd/DV???

Whenever you want to playback your videos, you should be in recording mode.

Press the play mode button and select the video that you want to play and then press the play/ pause button on the bottom part of the menu/ ok button.

You will only have sound when you playback through your pc or tv.This camera does not have speakers.

No sound when playing back Movie.
Hi,
DSC-S730 does not have inbuilt speaker to give sound in playback in camera, however, transfer movie clip in computer and playback it with Media Player to have sound as well.

When i record a video on my cyber shot dsc - s730 and play it back there is no sound!! why??
I'm sorry, this camera does not have the Speaker to playback the audio. However, the audio will recorded and can be played back when transferred to the computer or when connected to the TV. Check the Manual page # 28 to confirm this information.

No sound
Sony DSC-S730 has no built-in speaker for playback sound and you will have sound if you transfer and play movie clip in computer.

Samsung s730 Digital Camera - Video Stuttering Problem
I have the same problem with 640x320 video @ 30fps. The first one was very clean, but after that the video freezes every two seconds, but the audio don't. I "fixed" this issue changing the video format from NTSC to PAL. Now the videos are smooth again, and if you want NTSC playback, just use a video converter on your PC.

How do I play -back my video on my samsung S73 dig. cam?
When playing back photos, the photos and videos are stored in the order taken so when previewing using the forward and back controls (right and left on the joypad) when you come across a video press the play/ pause control (down on the joypad) to play the video.

An extra tip is to press the play/ pause control to pause the video, then follow the on-screen instructions (I don't remember which button you press) to take a screen capture of the frame you are viewing and it will save it as a separate photo!
