Re: FREEZER SOUNDS VERY NOISY
That because the internal fan is hiting the ice or has bad bushings you can hear the noise just with the door close because when you open the door there is a switch the one turns off the internal fan so when you close the door it turn on the fan again if you wants to hear that with the door open just open the door and push the botton swich with your fingers and you'll hear the noise

if the fan is still running when you open the door , the I would be leaving that idea as a last resort
get 2 taper door chocks and put one either side at the back of the fridge
push the cabinet sideways and slip one chock in a bit then do the other side
many noises are from the bottom plate that the compressor is mounted on from tapping on the floor and lifting it a bit stops the noise
the same as when you open the door the pressure on that plate is removed and so it stops hitting the floor
Your refrigerator has at least three motors with fans in addition to the compressor motor. The one most suspect is the one that passes air from the freezer to the refrigerator. samsung refrigerator noise YouTube
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.
There are several things to check:
1.) Door Gasket -Take a piece of paper. With the freezer door closed run the paper around the gasket. If you can do that, then you are not getting a good seal. Repair: Clean the freezer door gasket with soap and water. While still wet, take a hair dryer and a spatula, going around the gasket, heat the gasket while pulling the gasket out to expand it. Note: This only solves the problem if there is frost in the front area of your freezer.
2.) Freezer fan not working - In some cases, The freezer fan helps to prevent warm air from getting into the freezer.
3.) Food Storage - Make sure you do not overload the freezer, and that the food product is inside the bounds of the racks.
4.) Fresh Food Section Air Vent Wide Open - This is your probable cause: Heat goes to Cold like a magnet. When you open your fresh food section door and then close it you are forcing warm air up the vent that goes to the freezer. You probably have a broken air vent assembly.
1. is light on in side when you open the door. If not check breakers or fuses. 2. Can you hear the compressor running. If not do you hear any clicking sounds. 3. If you hear clicking sounds, try putting a fan on compressor and unplug refrigerator. 4. Wait one hour. 5. plug back in. If compressor starts let it run and see if it cools, if it doesnt, call service man. 6. If it goes back to clicking, call a service man. let me know if this helps.
Locate what is making the noise. There is a fan in the freezer behind the rear cover inside.
There is a fan underneath accessed from the rear behind the cardboard backing.
The compressor is also there with a starter/overload relay which could make the noise.
