Yes you can there are commercial experts that do recovery job, i suggest that you try new memory on your camera and see if your camera doesn't give error, you can also try to remove your disk from your camera and connect it to your pc using specific adaptor and view its content there

Why can't I access my photos on my computer from sony memory stick pro duo 4GB but can view on camera?

You may be able to get the images from the card. try using a program called BadCopy Pro. I used it a few times to get back images from memory cards that would not work on any computer. Good Luck.

Try to retrieve the files from the memory into your computer, if you can't see the pictures after they are moved, they might have been corrupted while you were using the camera.
In theory, you might have placed the camera near a strong magnetic field, like a speaker. This could explain the files being corrupted if that's the problem you have.

My 2gb san disk gets 'system error' after just two pictures. Works fine with the 16mb disk that came with the camera, so I figured it was just the 2gb disk that was damaged. All the san disks currently on...

Download any pictures you have on the "new" memory card to the computer. I'm sure the card memory lock us in the unlock position or you wouldn't have got this far.

Anyway once the pictures have been downloaded to the computer hard drive do a proper disconnect or eject, safely remove device (different computers use different language for the same darn thing) in short shut off the link before disconnecting the memory card from the computer. Once this has been done and the memory card is back into the camera format the card. Formatting is necessary for any new card to program it to the camera it is going to be used in. Also after each download of pictures from a memory card to the computer eject (properly shut it off) and then format the card again. This give the camera a clean medium to perform at it's optimum and place clean new pictures on the memory card. Okay for the larger cards I ran into this with my pro camera and needed to connect to the manufactures web site and download updated firmware once that was done I was able to feed 8gig card into my camera. I full suspect that if you go to Konica/Minolta web site that you will be able to download camera firmware updates. It's just amazing what this will do for the performance of the camera pro or consumer type. Have fun hope this was a help

The CF card has nothing to do with the information that is sent to it. It is just a recordable medium that stores what the camera sends to it. There is some other problem with the settings of the camera that caused the photos to be underexposed. Do you use RAW mode for capture of the images? If you do then the Canon RAW conversion software can batch process the photos to correct the exposure.

Just put in new san disk 4gb memory card and receiving error message - memory card error. I unlocked memory on card itself (that little gray sliver that goes up and down) What gives

I'm guessing you bought a new 4GB SDHC card. Although it looks exactly the same as a standard SD card, the format the card uses is very different. Unfortunately your camera was designed before the SDHC format came out. Sorry, but a SDHC card will not work with your camera.

You'll need to use standard SD cards (usually those 2GB or less). But if you really want to use a 4GB card, do a Google search for 4GB SD "non HC", with the non HC in quotes. Believe Transcend makes one.

Connect the camera with the card in it to the PC and then allow Windows to detect the camera and pop up a menu. This menu will have the option of copying files to the PC.

My samsung s1030

An 8gb memory card to too large for your camera. It can't handle the large space on an 8gb memory card. If I'm not mistaken the s1030 can only go up to a 2gb memory card.
