No, your fax machine only records the fax number of the last 50 transactions

Re: Fax Machine - Sharp UX-B700 Everytime I send a fax I get a print out if the fax was sent or not. A whole paged is use... this is paper waste... can it be stopped?

Yes you can stop it printing the report. Use the menu to cruise through the settings for fax. You will find the reports section and recognize that you don't want the memory storage report, so disallow it by pressing th no key.

Probably a noisy or digital phone line problem.

Sharp UX-117 display Wait a moment on power on and then no signal

I have not worked on a sharp ux-117 before, however most sharp fax machines are all alike when it comes to resetting this code. Turn the fax on while holding down the stop and start key don't let go until you see 1 =yes, 2=no for memory clear. press 1=yes. Some of the sharp fax machines have a small white rounded reset button. No guarantee but you have nothing to lose.

Memory

Most likely you have lost the fax in memory. Most faxes do not keep any info exept the machine id that sent you the faxes if there is a power failure, so you can know who was trying to send something and have them resend it.

In any case here is the manual
