Kodak easy share c875

Tried every different kind of battery and the camera comes on then turns off. Or it'll will work and take 5 or 6 pics and the new batteries are dead. It also doesn't work in the cold weather? IDK this camera is nothing but trouble. Please help.

    i have to same problem!!!

I have the same problem. However I'm able to get the camera to turn on 10% of the times if I keep the menu button pressed while turning on the camera. This camera is notorious for this problem, due to a faulty mainboard power supply.

When you say you've tried every different kind of battery, did that include Lithium batts?

Lithiums are the only battery that ALL Kodak cameras seem to be happy to run on.

They have huge problems with alkaline batts, even brand new ones.

Hope this helps.

Kodak easy share drains battery

Hello, Sounds just like Kodak, If you go to their website and click on support you will see downloads listed, be sure to download the C875 firmware for your camera and try that for your problem. Kodak does not know day from night when it comes to customer service, I guess this is the reason they are in bankruptcy as we speak. Junk China products and no customer support.

New kodak easy share c85 put in scan disk 8gb cannot format

The C875 works with MMC and SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to stay with cards 2GB and smaller.

The nearest Kodak official repair center is Precision Camera & Video Repair in Enfield, Connecticut. The repair will probably be about 4 weeks. There is more information on repairs at the Kodak website.

Kodak EasyShare C875 Digital CAmera

I had a similar problem with my C875 Digital Camera until I purchase extra heavy duty rechargeable batteries. Now, I no longer have this problem. When my battery power gets low, I recharge these same batteries.
