I open my phone and my screen was upside down, and it wont go back. What can i do to fix it?

The reason the display on your phone is upside down is that there is a problem with the flex of your phone.

The flex of a phone is the link that connects the screen to the keypad. It is the mechanism that makes the phone able to be flipped.

to fix the flex of a motorola razr V3 is quite uneasy, unless you have the basic skills required to fix it.

get the appropriate screwdriver,

unscrew the phone,

carefully detach the screen from the keypad and adjust or replace the flex. carefully couple back the phone and it will be okay once again.

I have a Sony Ericsson c905 phone and the screen is perfect, but upside down on all applications. Otherwise the phone operates normally. How can I fix this?

I found if I open the clamshell slowly, the screen displays properly.
If I push the button and let it open quickly, my screen is inverted (upside down).
This has been going on for about a month now..the phone is about 2 years old, so I am getting trading up to a blackberry now.

Well.. Umm.. Do you know how it could of been turned upside down?
Well you could try going to SETTINGS and then to SECURTIY and from there you could try RESTORING IT. Now, i don't know if this will fix your problem... But it MIGHT work.

Yeah, more than likely the lcd cable connection is loose. That is what the white screen usually indicates.

It is fairly easy to take a apart and reseat.

take the battery out of your phone with the power on. then try to turn it back on and see what happens. if still a problem take it to a sprint store. they can replace it.

Try a firmware (software) update, you can download the NOKIA Software Updater from the NOKIA web site.Do the update even if it is the same SW version that is already on your fone

search and rename file "vsfilter.dll" to "123"

after finish with app rename back to "vsfilter.dll"

Press the volume button while camera works!

just happened to me, phoned customer support and solution is to press the Ctrl key and Alt key and Up arrow together and it should solve the problem
