Haven't used ( Logitech Cordless Click Plus) mouse in a while. Green light on mouse charging dock but when I take mouse off it doesn't work. Do I need a new battery in the mouse?

sounds like your computer isnt picking up the keyboard you may need a driver for it try searching the net for you type of keyboard and model and see if you can find a driver to download for it
First try unplugging the charging base and using a Qtip and a light amount of rubbing alcohol(because it evaporates) to clean both charging surfaces: The 2 gold colored medal plates on the bottom of the mouse and the 2 prongs that touch them on the base. Wait about 15 minutes to make sure all rubbing alcohol has evaporated. Plug the charging base back in and see if its working. If it didn't seem to help, you can easily change the re-chargable batteries in the mouse as they are just 2 re-chargable AA batteries. Make sure they are replaced only with "re-chargable" batteries only. Replacing them with non-rechargable AA batteries can cause them to explode if placed upon the charging base.
That docking station has a lithium-ion battery in it that supposedly never needs replacing. I'm wondering if the battery did go out on it and needs to be replaced. If there is now way to get inside of the docking station then you will need to get another mouse, cause you can't just get the docking station.
You mouse wont charge because your charging system not working. you need to check your mouse charging system and second thing you need to check your battery also.
Sad to say that Cordless Mouse consumes power so fast thats why many of us are having the same trouble. Besides, the quality/price of the re-chargable batteries greatly matter when considering their power backup
-Refurbs usually come barebone, on any refurb product, definately read the terms and agreements of the warranty... No way in $*%# would I take a refurb without SOME sort of defective warranty.
-Try another computer -If it don't work on yours, try it on another one. Ensure its not lose, so wiggle it a little, and if it lights up to charge for a second, there's something interfering with the connection from the mouse to the dock. If all else fails, call the seller, cus it is, a refurb.
-Manuals are downloadable from the manufacturers website. Its a common trend that the manuals are links somewhere around the driver webpage, but a big company like logitech, shouldnt be hard to navigate.
