Hi,

I have a diplomat over not heating up, the grill works fine. I have replaced the element and still no luck, could it be the e thermostat. as the oven little red light isn't coming on, on the front panel. the red light only works if I press hard against the panel. any help is welcome thanks.

Hi,
If your electric Diplomat Double oven bottom oven fan works but - 2_bing.gif oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself...

Hello -

Apparently, the Diplomat brand of ovens ended production in 2008.

Prior to the end of production, Diplomat was part of the MFI company, with the company's Hygena brand name combined with Diplomat.

I have not yet found a user manual for Diplomat Elite Double oven online.

However, I have found a Hygena Diplomat manual online (free) and the manual has instructions for the clock. The instructions MAY be the same for your oven (I hope.)

I have a diplomat adp3650 oven, when using it on fan and turbo element setting it blew the fuse on the plug. I changed the fuse and now there is no heat on this setting. I still get heat when using the top...

I would say the element is burnt out, you will have to check it with a ohms meter.

I have a diplomat oven - i turned it on this afternoon and whilst the fan revolves there is no heat coming from it! i tried the grill and this works fine and heats up! what could the problem be pls??

It sounds like the oven element is blown and needs replacing. If the oven fan and the indicator light are coming on it will be the element or possibly a burnt off wire at the oven element terminals.

Top oven and grill of my Diplomat ADP4520 double oven has stopped working. Fan and light etc all come on but no heat in oven or grill element. What is the problem?

there is a problem in the wire connection that can cause a short circuit.

You need to replace the oven fan element, as there is probably a seperate element in use when used on convection heat.

The fan and oven light in bottom oven works but not heat.

The heating element is the likely culprit as they burn out and go open
circuit..(ie ...disconnected and will not heat up )
If you can use a multi-meter , then the element can be tested using the resistance range (with the oven SWITCHED OFF )

Yes it will need a new element, if the fan runs and temperature light comes on then the element is gone.

My Diplomat Oven Heating element (ELEHY6075) stopped working with the FAN ON combination. I replaced it with a new one and it still does not work with the FAN option. All other combinations do work. What can I do?

If it is fan assisted then check the fan element, it is located behind a panel at the rear of the oven compartment.
