I have a Troy-Bilt model TB70ss string trimmer. It will ru for a while and then quit. I will not be able to start it for quite a few hours. When I can get it started, it starts easily and runs well - for a period of time - and then quits again. It will only run for ball park 20 minutes. I tried fresh mixed gas/oil and this did not help. This machine is brand new. Any ideas?
Sounds as if the issue is related to heat. Possible ignition failure when hot. (I see that alot in my shop.) If the unit is new take it to an AUTHORIZED repair shop and it should cost you nothing. Locate your nearest repair shop HERE.
Hope this is helpful,
