The machine is wobbling during the spin cycle. I've re-balanced the machine and that didn't help. I've ran the spin cycle without clothes in the drum and it still wobbles. Any suggestions on what the problem is or how to fix this would be greatly appreiciated.

As I was removing the inner basket I discovered that the upper balancing ring on top of the inner basket has been wearing away at the casing on the upper part of the outer drum. I have a spanner tool to remove the center bolt so just removed the screws surrounding the bottom part of the inner basket and removed it that way, this proved to be fruitless as there was nothing to see underneath and putting everything back together didn't stop the machine from wobbling and making plastic on plastic rubbing noise. Do I need a spanner tool to get that bolt off, I'm not sure what to do next?

    I DON'T have a spanner tool.

The inner tub is not seated correctly. It must be disassembled and repositioned then fully tightened again.

check lid isolation switch. check for balance of clothes. I would go for the lid switch first. The balance second as if it starts to spin and wobbles violently it will switch itself off to prevent damage and you will have to move the clothes around to balance the drum.

Excessive wobble

If there's a loud thumping noise during the spin cycle, the load of clothes has probably gotten unbalanced. Open the lid, redistribute the clothes in the washer, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.
