Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Make sure the Red and White wire is connected into your TV “AUDIO IN” and the Red and White wire is connected into the L & R. Also check that the DVD player Audio setting Analog Out is set to “2 Channel” and the TV is turned to the correct Video line (AV Input/Video Input 1,2,3.etc). Once your TV is turned to the correct video line, you should see the “COBY” logo and it will work normally. If still the issue persists, then you’ll need to reset the DVD Player for which you’ll need to follow these steps---

Using the DVD player remote control: Open the Tray and press the “PROG” button and then press the “ZOOM” button.

Once the above procedure is performed the tray will be closed which means the DVD player has been reset back to the factory default settings.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

Precision TV - PTV2548 no sound when your watching cable but there is sound forvideo input

may be the source itself(i.e. cable box) also check cables between cable box & TV. If you are connecting the DVD to the same input the cable box is installed, You know that input on the TV is OK. If you get no audio when the DVD is connected to the same input as cable box, then issue is the MAIN PCB.

I hooked up our Onkyo TX-SR607 system a few weeks ago and have watched several movies, but now I cannot get the Hitahci PH35811 TV to sync up to get video. I get audio, but no picture when we try to watch...

Are you routing the video into your reciver from the dvd player? If so route the video directly into your tv. It won't fix the initial problem but you will get picture and sound to watch dvd movies.

No sound from built-in DVD player on TV?

It sounds like the audio cable from the DVD drive may be loose or damaged. Did you wall mount the TV and this is when the problem started or has it always been like this? If its under warranty, contact the helpline on 0871 2000 463, be warned, if its becuase the cable is damaged by a wall mounting screw, its clearly evident and they will charge for repair.
