My DVD recorder doesn;t record. When I go to replay there is nothing on the Recorded list. (The message PSO is showing on the front of the recorder.Is this coneected?)

It doesn't do. No can do.Whatever channel you SWITCH ON TO AFTER you started recording be it timer or manual GETS recorded. Whether you switch onto inputs on your TV remote or cable remote IS the one getting recorded.

the lens of the dvd player is either got dust on it so please clean that lens and then try.
also try that same disk in another player.

Well, it seems like it is already in English, but the spanish wasn't translated because of malfunctions that who knows what happened, for setting caption should be off unless you want text, voices of blind people sounds like the program on t.v. you recorded.

Check and make sure you have the DVD Recorder hooked up to the TV. I think you have the Cable box or Satellite hooked up or else you could not record. So there is a second set of outputs on the back of your DVD Recorder, Buy a set of RCA jacks and plug them into the Yellow,White, Red Plugs of your DVD Recorder, Then plug the other end into your TV in either L1 or L2 inputs, whichever ones are free.

Are you absolutely sure there are recordings on that disc?The message means the recorder can´t find any. If you have a chance and it´s a VR-disc, try playing it on another player that is known to be able to play unfinalized VRs. If it was recorded in video mode there´s nothing you can do. If the material is of great importance turn to data retrieval professionals.

hold the v-scan buton on front panel and you will see the menu for changing the progressive to rgb..

Recordings from your DVD recorder should play on other DVD players as long as you finalize the recording on your recorder.

A PC should recognise an un-finalized, but only in a DVD writer drive.
