If it is black and fairly long it's probably the drive belt and it has likely become stretched (or sticky). The belt fits on the inner circumference of the platter- to re-install - remove the rubber platter cover and platter
-stretch the belt around the inner (botom side inner) lip of the platter
- you should see the motor facing up with a brass capstan or drive bobbin
-from the top side of the platter stretch the belt slightly off the platter through the openings provided and while re-installing the platter loop the belt over the motor bobbin.
If the belt flops off the inner platter it's to stretched and a replacement would have to be ordered

Where can I get rubber traction bands for my New Bright Express Train Set from 1986 please?

Sold on eBay but looks like the bands at missing. Go to Home Depot and buy some -O-rings that fit. 3 or 4 each side should do it.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/185618976768

I wonder if these would fit? Ask the internal diameter.

Broken band, how can I get new rubber band? where??

Hi there,
It looks like that may be a custom band, this site has some great bands, http://www.watch-band-center.com/shop-watchstrap.html?gclid=CjgKEAjwoJ-dBRDbjfKN7IzN0FsSJAAP0G_DR8AwTfhcxt7HHIHONLoaf1QZfq7YeqCB6Vt1_oZKV_D_BwE

you'll need to measure how wide your band is where it connects to the watch to ensure you get the correct fit.

Skagen replacement band

I am facing the same issue as you. I have a Skagen 311LTRB watch without a band. I purchased the watch without a band, so I don't even know what the original band looks like.

It seems strange to me that Google doesn't even find that model of Skagen watch when you search on the model number. Makes me wonder if the watch is fake or real.

What I did was purchase an 18 mm mesh band and two pins from the following seller on eBay: "BandFever" / "18mm SILVER MESH WATCH BAND,COMES WITH 2 SPRING BARS". It only cost $12.95 with free shipping.

After installing the band, I am now able to wear the watch. And it feels very comfortable with the mesh band. However, it looks a littly dorky because there are overhangs on each side of the watch where the bands attach. I keep wondering what the watch appeared like when it was new with its original band.

Thomas engine keeps uncoupling.

Check the warranty. If still under, return it. Otherwise find a store that sells small black rubber bands, around 1/2" in diameter. Wrap one around the coupler behind the knuckle. Check to see if the coupler still opens. If it does move the rubber band either forward or backward until the coupler does not open.

Senco nailgun sn4 plunger doesn't retract

The driver will not retract if the driver is bent, piston oring too loose or too tight or the check band is loose or missing. Easy test, remove air and push the piston to top of cylinder. It should move up with very little effort. If hard to push, oring too tight or driver bent. If piston moves too easily and drops back down under its own weigth, oring too loose. If easy to push and stays suspect check band (check band is located on the outer lower part of the cylinder. Looks like black rubber band or series of orings that fit over series of holes. ). If the band is split or broken, replace with series of orings to cover all holes, or use any rubber like bicycle tube. Good luck with your repair.

I love my Cadet toilet. It looks perfect in my bathroom, but the flush isn't as powerful as I thought it would be. Can someone help me?

The flapper is secured with a rubber band. The rubber band must be removed from the flapper for the toilet to function properly. Please check the flush valve prior to installation and if the rubber band is present, simply cut it and remove it.
