Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. This recorder is equipped with a PC/IF connector to enable recorded voice data to be transferred to a PC. You can also transfer data using voice recognition software, you got with the instruction manual provided with the DS-150 Via Voice kit. (if you have purchased it). You can buy this kit from this link---

Ds-150 via voice kit

If unable to find then contact olympus at Olympus care.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

Olympus ds 40 can't display recorded voice folders on pc

There are a total of eight folders in the recorder that are in a tree format. Under the “Root” folder

Language and music data from a computer can be saved as “files”. “Folder A” through “Folder E”
are voice-recording folders, so choose one of these five folders when recording on this recorder.
Up to 200 files can be saved in each folder, and up to two layers can be created within the “Music” folders.

CANNOT TRANSFER AUDIO FILES FROM WS-100 OLYMPUS VOICE RECORDER TO PC (Windows XP)

I wrote this for the Olympus VN-3100PC although it may work with this device as well.

Try this:

This problem can typically be solved by unplugging the device from your computer's USB port and plugging it in to another USB port on the same computer.

Also be sure you have Olympus Digital Wave Player installed and open with your Transfer Options set to Auto Transfer. To do this, follow the steps below:

Open Digital Wave Player > select Transfer from the menu > select Transfer Options > under Auto Transfer, check the box which reads "Transfer all audio files after detecting Recorder."

Olympus DS-150

Judging from Olympus' website the device does appear to be MAC compliant as there are software downloads for the MAC system available for download. As far as voice to text goes, Olympus does not offer that option. Voice to text is done through a company called Nuance with a product called Dragon Naturally Speaking

Try connecting to a differant USB Port. The other possibility is a corruped memory card. try reformating it thru thr recorder menu.

Olympus ds-30 deleted file recovery

on your computer, you will need some sort of media recovery software. also go to options under the tools menu and uncheck delete after transfer to turn off deletion. this is usually best since you can delete the files through the recorder by the erase button
