I woulf first make sure that both ends of the video cable are tightly secured to the monitor and the video port on the back of the CPU. If they are, I would then turn off and unplug the power to the CPU and if you are capable and comfortable with doing so, open up the CPU and reseat the video card in its slot. Make sure that you discharge any static by touching the case before you touch any circuit boards. Good luck and be careful.

I think you should look at the heat shields often attached to the exhaust, sometimes when at idle they can vibrate and rattle and make a hell of a racket. Have your mechanic take a look at these it shouldn't cost very much if that is the problem

Sounds like a bad bearing or dust accumulation in the CPU heat-sink fan. If the fan does not cool properly the CPU will overheat and shutdown or freeze the computer.

the F1 code is a universal service code to ALL brand ovens and it means that one of the buttons on the touch pad has shorted out. You can clear the code by pushing clear/cancel button and if doesnt reappear it was fluke, if it reappears within 15 minutes and once again you push clear and that cycle repeats, the touch pad must be replaced

Basically a friend showed the power 4 extreme option by right clicking on the battery icon at the bottem right of the screen and then setting in the quiet office section to say no to hide desktop icons. Now its no longer a problem!

try creating a new user account.

one check your refresh rate in windows boot the pc into safe mode if flickering is gone then lower your refresh rate if not replace lcd inverter board.

You need to check the horizontal IC for deffects, possibly and most likely there are dry joints on the legs of the Horizontal IC. Have all the legs on the IC soldered nicely, this shud sort out your problems as you say you hit the TV then works. Try this before replacing the IC

its a lens assembly problem, it might be damaged from impact or may be something like dust is making diffficult for it to work u have to take it ti service

this means the TV having picture upper part of the screen. problem may be -15 V to vertical deflection ic suddenly gose off and system control gose to stand-by mode resolder vertical out ic , -15 v supply line from the fly back and system control .
