A better way would be to use an online proxy like http://hidemyass.com/. Just put http://facebook.com/ into the box on their main page and press "Hide My ***" and it should proxy the page for you. If you're using internet explorer as your web browser, go to www.google.com. When the page has loaded, click the arrow next to the little picture of the house at the top of the screen on the right and click "add or change homepage" then select "use this page as your only homepage"

If you are using Firefox, click "tools" at the top of the screen and select "options" in the window which will appear, next to where it says "homepage" delete the contents of the white box and type "http://www.google.com" then click "ok"
