I have a sony trinitron t.v.. 32 inch with a std/dvd input in the front. the tv is not showing a picture and the stand/by/timer light keeps blinking

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

you have to check you timinig on/off setting.

You have what is commonly known as a shutdown problem. It's an overload in one of the internal circuits. It needs to be looked at by a professional tv reapir person.

has a sony 41" REAR PROJECTION TV THE STAND BY LAMP IS BLINLING HAS RESET IT , NOTHING. HAS NO PICTURE NO SOUND

Does this have a replacable lamp? If so it will do exactly this. If it does it's probably fried.

I have a 36 Trinitron, the sound and picture went but the red light just keeps blinking, any ideas? Please ....

When I turn on the TV I hear the click sound and the TV powers up. Immediatly the red (standby) light begins to flash 6 times on and off. this happenes only in the morning, but after 5:00PM when youturn on the TV as if nothing is wrong.

what is the problem?

Buy another TV.

TV will be on for 2 hours sometimes, or 20 minutes then goes off, standby bottom is flashing. and keeps doing that over and over.
