Check the belt to the water pump, remove the inspection place on the right hand bottom corner of the machine with the power off, remove belt, examine it, replace if worn. Turn the water pump pulley by hand to see if there is any friction of sorts. there might be an obstruction in the pump.

  • paulus649 Jul 04, 2013

check the belt and see if it is slipping, with the power completely isolated turn the drum for freedon of movement, then check the water pump for any blockages, if there is a blockage you may damaged your controler board. To replace, buy an old machine at the dump with faulty water seals, do a transplant job by exchanging boards.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

I still need help with my previous issue. My F&P

Hello, one off the first things in order to help would be the model number this way we are able to see which type of washher you do have. If this were a smartdrive type unit we could use something like this service manual click this link http://www.docstoc.com/docs/25379715/Fisher-_-Paykel-Washer-Diagnostic-Fault-Codes in which on this type of fisher and paykel washer you would count from left to right the 8 lights and list which led's were lit on the unit. There are of course other service manuals depending on which model you do have. I await your reply to the model number of your machine and if I dont see your response this evening I will look forward to answering any further questions you may have tomorrow. Thanks

Fisher Paykel washing machine Smartdrive 703 Advance, Power and Start buttons are non responsive when pushed. Is there a part that can fix this. Does the control panel have to be replaced?

Fisher & Paykel Smart Drive beeps and stops during rinse cycle. If I hit pause and wait and restart it eventually continues. It seems like it has problems detecting water level.
