Big mistake, bought a Trutech TV w/DVD now mult. problems

Have 19" lcd-dvd from Trutech model no. model pvs 2119 CD is now inoperable. will not open auto or play. now TV just cycles through channels and will not remain on one channel. when press on TV turns on then off immediately, Must press on over and over. then TV just cycles. will not take channel commands or nay commands from remote except on/off. any suggestions?

Sounds like a defect. if you gought it recently, i would return it. there is nothing to repair that.

The link above is a manual for the PVS2119 19" LCD TV with DVD Player. You'll need the Adobe Acrobat Reader (it's free on adobe.com).

But this manual even helped me install my TV and I have the TruTech PVS31170S1W 17".

These 2 TV models are very much the same. I hoped this helped in some way.

DVD player not working
It could be that the DVD player has a bad home switch in the dvd player or that it doesn't know that the door is closed. I have run into similar situations with CD Players years ago. Also keep in mind to unplug unit and let sit for 1 minute to let microprocessor reset. Let me know if that helps. Thank you ...Jay
