Do you mean while your talking to a person? if so i cannot help. but if you mean your phone is on silent, samsung tends to make a lot of the silent buttons on their phone the pound button. (#) so if you mean on silent, just hold the pound (#) button down. if that doesn't work try using the bar on the side.

Samsung SYNC SGH-A707 Cellular Phone no sound even when starting . rings and recieve calls cant hear or talk.

Now you'll need to reset the audio from the phone's advanced menu, follow the following steps.

1. reboot your phone.
2. type *#0523#
3. keep tapping # till you see audio, which should be no 8
4. press 8
5. you can either rebuild the audio or reset the various audio options.

I hope that helps.

Samsung Sync SGH-A707 Audio Problem

Two things:

Are you in an area where they are upgrading the towers to 3g service? Are you going back and forth from Edge service to 3G service. That could cause the click.

And one more thing you could do is pay 25.00 to get a new sim card. Believe it or not this helps sometimes.

Other than that I do not know of any solution or why it is doing that, it should not do it. If its under warranty have att send you a new one (warranty good for a year from the date you bought it)
