0382,0388. Try these codes. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. See it in "Mosaic" view. It will make surf easier. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/
Mine too, we need to find the AV channel. All our friends who have a Wii have had no problems, just plug it in and switch your remote from TV to AV and it's there. My Hitachi remote does not have a TV/AV button, and the other options, S.Video, Composite Video, Component etc is taken up with other things eg Foxtel, DVD player and DTT tv channels .... HELP!!!!
Commonly for Hitachi tv's if the screen went out,,the problem will be the CATHODE RAY TUBE,it is costly to buy.if you want you can buy it,,or it may be the D-board problem will be also,,, but it is unusual,so check the tube.
Try this! Get into the menu and look for channel setup. See channel memory delete or save and add this to channel memory. Hope this works..I never repaired this model. This is only a suggestion.
have you tried buying a universal remote? you can get a decent one for
£10 these days from any electrical store, such as curry's or maplins.
it gives you a 3 digit code for the tv to link up with the remote and
then you can switch over to av. some hitachi tv's also link up to av
automatically if you connect your game station via scart socket (in the
back of the tv) if you turn the tv off and link your wii up to the back
and make sure the power is turned on before the tv is switched on,
there's a chance the tv will auto detect the av channel. not all do but
it's worth a try. hope this helps!
If your tv has S-video on the unit then yes you can plug it in from your S-Video out on your laptop. You will have to change the input on the tv. This will be done by hitting the TV/AV button on the remote, that is assuming this is an ORION stv2762. Otherwise it will be an Input, TV/Video, or AV button, or source . IF you have none of these then it could be as simple as pressing the Channel button down until you reach the AV channel. Make sure the laptop is on and then try changing through input's until you see the screen change to what the laptop shows. If you have more questions about this let me know.
VICTORY! Had the same problem with my Orion model FTDV2004. Lost the remote and couldn't program a universal remote to change the input to AV. After a day of reading posts, I just started pushing the channel up button. Somewhere past channel 115 the "Line1" and "Line 2" inputs showed up.
