My adaptor has broken and so the speakers are not getting power.How can I solve this?

because they are broken or are not receiving the signal, check that the jack is the correct size. With something playing slowly pull
the jackplug out to see if this is the fault, as it exits it will make contact with the socket and you may get sound.... in that case get a jack adaptor

if your unit come with external Adaptor power up type. then mostly is the adaptor already blown, replace the adaptor will do.

you answered your question. let me explain: the head phone plug is a switch- that disconnects the speaker and only allows sound to the headset. the switch is either broken, loose-wire or dislodged.need to get inside the unit, You could of course get creative. put an adaptor to the headphone jack;the adaptor can now allow you to run wires to the speakers. adaptor is avail from radioshack-same size as on the headset.

If the speakers are with the seperate power adaptor then issue could be with the adaptor other wise the power circuit of speakers.

Disconnect green speaker jack from computer and see if you get a green power light on speakers. If the speakers indicate they have power, your sound card or circuit is shorting out the speakers. If you still have no power to the speakers when disconnected from computer, then no green light means no power to speakers. Either you’re A.C. adaptor is bad or the speakers are shorted out. You have 2 options:
1) Replace A.C. adaptor.
2) Replace speakers.
If you buy new speakers, make sure that they have their own power source (A.C. adaptor).
