Not sure if you are seeing this error message;
A carriage stall is when the carriage holding the ink cartridge cannot
move back and forth inside the printer. You may have a carriage stall
if you have one of the following symptoms:
But from what you are describing this might be worth a shot.
"Carriage Jam
" or "Carriage Blocked
" error message

My HP Officejet 6210xi All-in-one print keeps saying paper jam when there is no paper in the printer at all. Like I opened the lid to where the ink cartridges are and noticed that there are two things towards the outermost left and right edges (the section the ink cartridges move on) that are preventing the ink cartridges from moving across the page. Please Help .....Thank You
